I went to Soup stock in the Futakotamagawa station yesterday during the lunch break. I’m a big fan of the brand which supply us with tasty, gentle and healthy soup meals, including original (and unique) curries. And they are almost the only chain restaurant with a trustworthy vegetarian menu except for Moss Burger, perhaps. I’m not a vegetarian but my eating habit is very much biased to vegetables because my organs sometimes can not digest animal fat.
Especially their vichyssoise is one of my favourites in summer. I ate it yesterday for the first time in a year, and I was relieved that they are not changed. I like Soup Stock Tokyo because they use a lot of vegetables with the appropriate amount of fats and mild spices, and they know how delicious their soups are. I feel their shops like shelters amid urban tensions.
Under the quarantine situation I won’t be able to go out, but I would take a rest at the shops of Soup Stock Tokyo when I am into town.
