漫画や小説の中で出会う詩または韻文 ：コヘレトの言葉 春の朝
思いがけないところで、印象深い詩や韻文に出会うことがある。
ある者は言った
何もかも風を追うようなことだ
かつてあったことはこれからもあり
かつて起こったことはこれからも起こる
太陽の下、新しいものはなにもない
何事にも時がある
すべて定められた時がある
これは、旧約聖書の中の、「伝道の書」（コヘレトの言葉）からの引用である。『ヴァンピアーズ』は、悠久の時を生きる吸血鬼の少女と、祖母と孫それぞれの少女時代での関わりを描いた漫画である。この漫画の、祖母から孫への世代の移り変わりを描いた場面で、この韻文が引用されている。
そして、これはまた、『赤毛のアン』の終端で引かれる、ロバート・ブラウニングの詩「春の朝」の一節を思い起こさせる。
神、空にしろしめす。すべて世はこともなし。

This is a quote from the "Book of Evangelism" (Ecclesiastes) in the Old Testament. "Vampires" is a manga depicting the relationship between a foreign vampire girl who lives in eternity and Japanese girls Chiyo and Ikka who is a granddaughter of Chiyo. This verse is quoted in this cartoon, which depicts the transition of generations from a girl to her granddaughter.
And this is also reminiscent of a passage from Robert Browning's poem "Spring Morning," quoted at the end of "Anne of Green Gables".
