くしゃみ３回〇〇３錠（いにしえのテレビコマーシャル）
数日前、何度もくしゃみが出て、寒気を感じた。
その前から二日間、寒かったせいか、子どもから風邪をもらったせいかわからないが、夜中37.5度まで上がった。
使用期限を三ヵ月過ぎた市販の感冒薬を寝る前と翌朝にのんだ。
ここ何年も風邪をひかなかったので、この薬は未開封だった。とはいえ、期限切れの薬をのむことにためらいはあった。
結果としては、この薬を２回のんだのが功を奏したのか、翌日の昼には、ほぼ正常に戻った。
私が風邪をひいたときにのむ薬は、かつて、タイトルのコマーシャルで宣伝されていた。これをのんだら、だいたいの風邪は治るので、常備薬にしている。
今回、たまたま古い薬しかなかったので、それに頼ったのだけれど、いい子の皆さんは、マネしちゃだめです！
今日、薬局に行って、この薬を買ってきた。その薬の箱には、２０２４年１２月と書かれていた。これは未開封の場合の期限であり、開封した場合の期限は、メーカーのサイトによると、その日から１２カ月だという。
気になって、近くの別の薬局で、同じ薬を見てみた。そこの薬の箱には、２０２３年１２月と書かれていた。私が買った薬の方が１年も長持ちする！
私が薬を買った店の方が、買わなかった店よりも繁盛しているように見える。やはり客数の多い店の方が、商品の回転率もいいのだろう。薬局の在庫管理はどのような基準で行っているのだろうか？
ところで中国は、「ゼロコロナ」から突然、転換を図ろうとしていて、薬局では解熱薬が売り切れ、価格は高騰しているという。
日本では、薬も抗原検査キットも手に入りやすいので、恵まれている。
私と同時期に神奈川県の知事も発熱していたが、彼は「あの病気」にかかっていたという。
