★ここまで英語の勉強と美術の勉強を兼ねて、主に英語の美術書を読んだり、NHKの英語テキストを使った勉強を進めてきた。ネタ切れ的なこともあって、次の英語で勉強することをあれこれ考えているときに、SDGsについて勉強するのもいいかなと思い、始めることにした。SDGsのロゴ使用は非商業利用であれば許諾不要であることを確認済なので、これから前文、17のゴールについて、ロゴも使用しながら勉強のメモを残していきたい。
◎Goal 16. Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels
16.1 Significantly reduce all forms of violence and related death rates everywhere
16.2 End abuse, exploitation, trafficking and all forms of violence against and torture of children
16.3 Promote the rule of law at the national and international levels and ensure equal access to justice for all
16.4 By 2030, significantly reduce illicit financial and arms flows, strengthen the recovery and return of stolen assets and combat all forms of organized crime
16.5 Substantially reduce corruption and bribery in all their forms
16.6 Develop effective, accountable and transparent institutions at all levels
16.7 Ensure responsive, inclusive, participatory and representative decision-making at all levels
16.8 Broaden and strengthen the participation of developing countries in the institutions of global governance

★torture；拷問（the act of causing someone severe pain in order to punish them or make them say or do something）、illicit；違法な、corruption；汚職、bribery；贈賄、participatory；一般参加型の（allowing everyone in a society, business, etc. to give their opinions and to help make decisions）、registration；登録、legislation；立法行為、relevant；関連性のある、重要な（having ideas that are valuable and useful to people in their lives and work）、non-discriminatory；差別のない
◎16番目は暴力の撲滅に関するゴール。あらゆる形の暴力、特に子供に対する暴力の防止や不正義な行いや違法な行いに対する適切な措置を求めている。
ここでも開発途上国への支援が謳われているが、先進国であっても深刻な問題は多い。日本でも、”いじめ”や”体罰”というような別の名称を使うことで、暴力に種類があるかのような扱いをして、いまだにその一部を正当化しようというような考えがある。最近では、web上での暴力によって命を落とす人も増加している。”政府が”という前に国民一人一人のマインドセットを変える必要がある。
