【Day26】East Japan earthquake

Summary

Ten years have passed today since the East Japan earthquake, but problems have remained.

Ten years have passed today since the East Japan earthquake.
When it happened, I was a high school student going home that time.
Because I live in Saitama, near Tokyo, my family had little damage, just CDs and books were scattered.
But on TV when I watched the scene showing cars and houses flushed by the tsunami, I was shocked.
This is more miserable than any other movie.
Also, a principal power plant in a part of Fukushima, East Japan, was broken by the tsunami.
Now, there is an off-limits area because of the effects of radiation.
If this happens again, I will do the following:
1. I will prepare much to correspond to that situation.
2. I will tell those terrible things to people around me.

東日本大地震から今日で１０年が経った。
その頃私は高校生だった。
東京に住んでいたため、被害はそれほど大きくなく、家のCDや本が散乱していただけだった。
衝撃が走ったのは、テレビで津波で車や家が流されている映像を見た時だった。
映画で見るような光景を今も忘れることができない。
また、震源地に近い福島の地域は、津波で原理力発電所が破壊された。
放射線の影響で、今も人間が入ってはいけない地域がある。
私ができることは、緊急事態の時に行動できることとあの地震を思い出して周りに伝えることだと思っている。
