杖立温泉街/千と千尋の神隠し世界【TUETATE Hot spring】

山道を通り、山の中に立っている温泉宿が見えてきた。
ここは杖立温泉。まるで、「千と千尋の神隠し」の世界。

After passing the mountain path, you can see the hot spring inn standing in the mountains.
This is Canedate Onsen. The world of "SENTOTIHIRONOKAMIKAKUSI".

コロナの影響で家族湯のみの営業で、入れる温泉も限られている。
行った時には（１２時くらい）既に満席。。！！！
行くなら、早めに行くのがおすすめです。
ライダーの方も多く、立ち寄り湯として愛されていました。

温泉街の方に向かってみると、今度は川の上にある、迷路のような温泉街が見えてきた。昭和感漂う街並みは、どこかノスタルジックな感情になる。
人は少なかったものの、不思議な世界が広がっていた。

Looking towards the hot spring town, I could see a maze of hot spring towns above the river. The townscape with the Showa era feels nostalgic.

【おすすめ散策スポット】

①もみじ橋・願橋/Momiji Bridge/Ganbashi

絵馬ならぬ絵鯉を屋根にかけると恋が叶うとの言い伝えもあり、願い事を書いてある絵鯉が橋にかかっていて、幻想的な雰囲気が漂う。
１個300円〜500円で自分の願い事がかけられます。昼間と夕方では、全然雰囲気が違うんです。

There is a legend that love will come true if you apply a picture carp that is not a votive picture to the roof, and the picture carp with your wishes on the bridge creates a fantastic atmosphere.

You can make your wish for 300 yen to 500 yen per piece. The atmosphere is completely different between daytime and evening.

②大神宮/Ojingu

入口（entrance）→

見上げると、石段が上までずっと繋がっている。
登った先に見える世界はどんなものだろう。
どこに繋がっているんだろう。
進まずにはいられない。

竹林の中に光が差し込む。
パッと見ると、神社が見えた。
360度緑が広がる神秘的な神社がそこにはあった。

天照皇大神を祭神とし、相殿として学問の神様・菅原道真を祀る大神宮。

度重なる兵乱と火災により古文書等が一切紛失しているものの、室町時代の御神鏡がおさめられる神社

③東林琉璃堂（薬師堂）/Ryudou Higashibayashi (Yakushido)

「東林琉璃堂」（薬師堂）は空海を祀ったお堂。

かつてこの地を訪れた弘法大師（空海）は、自分が持っていた竹の杖を温泉に立ててみたところ、節々から枝や葉が生えてきたため、杖立という地名が生まれたという伝説があるという。

「お湯の守り神」として祀られています。

"Ryudou Tobayashi" (Yakushido) is a temple dedicated to Kukai.

Kobo Daishi (Kukai), who once visited this place, said that when he tried to put a bamboo cane he had in a hot spring in a hot spring, branches and leaves grew from the nodes, and the place name "Standachi" was born. ..

④蒸し場/Steaming place

歩いているとあちこちで見えてくる湯気。
卵や野菜やお芋を蒸すことのできる共同むし場があります。

杖立温泉の源泉は98度という。この高熱を生かしたむし風呂や蒸し場があちこちにあります！！実際にやってみたい

⑤共同足湯/Joint footbath

私には熱かった。これは、源泉が高熱だからだったんですね（笑）
散策が疲れた時にぴったり。。！（入れたらよかった）
足裏のツボを刺激する歩行湯など種類がたくさんあります。

⑥路地/alley

少し寂れた昭和感漂う街並みは、歩けば歩くほど楽しくなるはず。
路地は狭く、迷路のようになっています。探検してるみたいで好奇心をくすぐられますよ。

The more you walk around the cityscape with a feeling of Showa, which is a little lonely, the more fun you will get.
