【水の国熊本/WaterCountryKumamoto】

熊本は「水道水の100％が地下水」

という全国的にも珍しい地域。蛇口をひねれば、美味しい水が飲めるのです。なんという贅沢!!

初回は、阿蘇の水源を紹介していきます。

①白川水源/SIRAKAWA　Water source

環境庁の「名水100選」に選ばれている。阿蘇の水源の中でも、１番人気のスポットとなっている。

This place has been selected as one of the 100 famous waters of the Ministry of the Environment．

湧き上がる水を五感で感じることのできる水源で、水を汲む場所も用意されています。また、水が綺麗なのはもちろんのこと、なんと言っても素敵なのは、この広さと周りの自然。歩くのにはちょうどいい広さで、水の流れる音や、涼しさを感じながら、散策できます。気持ちいい。。！夏にもってこいのスポットです。

It is a water source where you can feel the water that springs up with your five senses.There is also a place to draw water．What is wonderful is the size and nature of the surrounding area.You can stroll while feeling the sound of flowing water and the coolness.

歩いて行くと、白川吉見神社が見えてきます。古くから、水に対する信仰があったようです。（湧水がこんなにたくさん出て来るから、信仰あったんだろうね）

「みつはのめ神」という水神様が祀られています。

If you walk, you will see Shirakawa Yoshimi Shrine.
It seems that there has been a faith in water since ancient times.A water god called "Mitsuhanomejin" is enshrined.

・湧水量　６０トン／毎分　（Spring volume）

②塩井社水源/SIOISHA　Water source

水は青く光り、神秘的な雰囲気漂っている水源。
塩井神社が隣にあり、水神様が祀られています。

The water is a source of water that glows blue and has a mysterious atmosphere.Shioi Shrine is next to it, and the water god is enshrined.

この水源は2016年の熊本地震で１度は水が枯れてしまった場所。
2年後に再び水源に水が溜り出したけれど、その時は濁っていたという。
そこで、地元方々が中心となってポンプで濁っていた水を吸い取ったりして水源を守り続けた。その結果、このような綺麗な湧水になったとのこと。

このような努力が、綺麗な水が得られていることに繋がっています。

This water source is a place where water once died in the 2016 Kumamoto earthquake.
Two years later, water began to collect again at the source, but at that time it was cloudy.
Therefore, the local people took the lead in absorbing the muddy water with a pump and continued to watch the water source. As a result, it was said that such beautiful spring water was obtained.

Such efforts lead to the result that clean water is obtained.

③川地後水源池/KAWADIGO　Water source

小さい水源だけど、浅いから、ここなら小さい子供でも遊べるスポット。
道路沿にあるから、見つけやすい水源です。

農産物の洗浄などにも利用できるように整備されています。

It's a small water source, but it's shallow, so it's a spot where even small children can play.
Since it is located along the road, it is a water source that is easy to find.

It is designed so that it can be used for cleaning agricultural products.
