今のアメリカの人権運動の指導者たちは、人権問題や市民権の問題など、社会に欠けていることだけに焦点を当てていることが多々あります。マーティン・ルーサー・キング・ジュニアのような先駆者たちのように、今ある限界を遥かに超えた全体像を見ていないのです。キング牧師は預言的なビジョンを持っており、人が平等であり、性別、人種、国籍、そしてあらゆる過去を持った人にも同じように地位や機会が与えられることを見ていました。当時の社会に束縛されない夢を抱き、それがゆえに一世代にしてそのビジョンを大きく押し進めることができたのです。神が既に何をなさったか、そして自分たちが何を達成できたかに目を向けない人は、何が欠如しているかにフォーカスしてしまい、神の御業の全体像を見ずに社会正義や人権のために戦おうとします。これは問題、特に社会正義などの大きな問題に取り組むときには危険なアプローチです。なぜなら、神にはご計画があるということを認識したときに初めて正義がもたらされるからです。神は不正を愛で正そうとしており、何千年もその働きをなさっています。中にはこのモデルを見習いながら人権問題に取り組む素晴らしいリーダーたちもいますが、希望、愛、解決策、変革、正義などをあまり含まない発言を大声で叫んでいるだけで、この国を前進できていないような人たちもいます。教会でも同じことが起こっているのです。

DISCERNMENT DOESN’T ALWAYS BUILD
We can see many US civil rights leaders just dwelling on the current truth of which human and civil rights are missing. They are not always seeing the big picture and looking beyond our current limitations the way some of the forefathers did, such as Martin Luther King Jr. He had prophetic vision and saw equality. He saw positions for men and women offered equally to every gender, every race, every country of origin, and every past. He had a dream that wasn’t limited to the society of his day, and in just one generation, we have advanced significantly. Those who aren’t looking at what God has done and what we have voted in might only focus on what is not happening, and then fight for social justice and civil rights without the full perspective of what God has done and is doing. That is a dangerous way to approach issues, especially on a strong issue like social justice, because all justice starts with our acknowledgment that God has a plan. He plans to correct injustice through love, and he has already been working on it for thousands of years. I have met some incredible civil rights leaders who model this well, but there are also loud shouts from others that will not bring this nation forward because their declarations are not full of hope, love, resolution, change, or justice. It’s the same in the church.

WHAT DO YOU THINK?
We have all sinned and deserve God's judgment. As it is, we are all doomed to perish because of our own sin. But God, the Father, sent His only Son to satisfy that judgment for you and those who believe in Him. Jesus, the Omnipotent Creator and eternal Son of God, who came onto this earth, lived a sinless life as a human being same of you, loves you so much that He died for your sins, taking the punishment that you deserve, was buried, and rose from the dead on the third day according to the Bible. If you truly believe and trust this in your heart, receiving Jesus alone as your Savior, declaring, "Jesus is my Lord" then the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob shall be the God of you, and you shall be saved from judgment and spend happily eternity with God, the Father in heaven. And also opportunity of the door opening of the salvation from Sins will be given to your family.
