【Switzerland #06】グリンデルバルド（スイス）/Wandering in Grindelwald

Nestled in the heart of the Swiss Alps, Grindelwald offers some of the most breathtaking hiking experiences. One of the highlights of my trip was the hike to First, a mountain known for its stunning views and thrilling activities.

First to Bachalpsee | hike | Komoot

The Journey Begins

Our adventure started with a scenic gondola ride from Grindelwald to First. The 25-minute ride offered panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, including the famous Eiger, Wetterhorn, and Schreckhorn1. As we ascended, the lush green valleys and charming alpine villages below became smaller, replaced by the rugged beauty of the high mountains.

Upon reaching the top, we were greeted by the First Cliff Walk, a metal walkway that clings to the side of the mountain.

Hiking to Bachalpsee

From First, we embarked on a hike to Bachalpsee, a serene mountain lake. The trail, approximately 6 kilometers round trip, was moderately challenging but incredibly rewarding.
