曇 -Unstable weather

“花は盛りに、月は隈なきをのみ、見るものかは”

（桜は満開のときだけが、月は曇りのない満月だけが、

突き抜けるような青空を
無条件に美しいと私も思うけれど
美しいのは決して、それだけではなくて。

灰色の暗い雲が
刻々とすがたを変えゆくその変化や、

その隙間を縫うようにして
もれ出づる柔らかな光や、

その光が薄闇の中、
水面に描くひとつの道すじや、

明るさと暗さを併せ持った
そのどこまでも不安定な感じに、
とてつもなく惹かれてしまうことが、よくある。

不安定なはずのその景色は
むしろ心をしん、と落ち着けてくれて。

その変わりゆく景色を、
ずっとずっと、
眺めていたいと願う。

If you see cherry blossoms and the moon,
do cherry blossoms should be at the best season
and does the moon should be full moon without any clouds?
Do you think they are only worth seeing?

I absolutely think a very blue sky is beautiful,
but I never think that is all.

The look that dark gray clouds are
changing their forms little by little,

The soft sunlight
which is shining through the clouds,

The route on the surface of the water
which is made by the light in this dim scene...

I'm often charmed by
this kind of something very unstable
which has both side of brightness and darkness.

Strange to say, the "unstable" scene
makes my feeling really "stable".

I wish I could keep seeing the scene changing
for long long time...
