　In my opinion, computers will have the greatest influence on the world in this century. Computers have already been revolutionizing the way we work and live, but the revolution will surely go on in the 21st century. For example, most of us may stay home and work, sitting at our computers connected to the internet around the clock. Robots may also help us a lot with all our household chores.

２０２２年から見ると、３文目と４文目をもう少し変えることができるかもしれないが、２００２年に書いた答案だとすれば、２文目以外はよく書けているので、２文目だけ添削します。

Computers have already been revolutionizing the way we work and live, but the revolution will surely go on in the 21st century.

添削）

• the way we work and live は少々冗長だし、仕事は生活の一部だと考えれば、our lifestyleに直しても差し支えない。

• but は逆接の等位接続詞で、前後に逆接的な内容がくる。日本語の「が」が英語の but に対応すると安直に思い込んだ結果。and に直す。

• go on は句動詞でインフォーマルなので、continue に直す。

• surely は主観的な確かさ、certainly は客観的な確かさを表す、という違いがある。certainly に直す。
