リトアニア共和国学びのフェア：お面の型紙到着とウジュガベネス祭りについて

こんにちは皆さん！

本日はリトアニア共和国の学びのフェアのワークショップで使用するお面の型紙が、リトアニア大使館から届きました！型紙は以下の３つです：

お面の塗り絵型紙
別のお面の塗り絵型紙
オリジナルのお面を作成するための型紙
この型紙を使って、楽しいお面を作成していただきます。リトアニアの祭りで使われる仮装や仮面に触発されて、みなさんのクリエイティブなアイデアで素敵なお面を作りましょう！

リトアニアのウジュガベネス祭りについても少し説明いたします。この祭りは、春を迎え、冬を追い出す伝統的なリトアニアのお祭りで、日本の節分に似た要素を持っています。お祭りでは仮装や仮面が重要で、パンケーキ、ヘラジカ、カナリアの戦い、ペストの焼失など、様々な要素が含まれます。このお祭りは、冬を追い払い、春を迎えるために行われ、とても楽しく美しいものです。

Learning Fair in Lithuania: Arrival of Mask Templates and Insights into Užgavėnės Festival

Hello, everyone!

Today, we received mask templates from the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania for our upcoming Learning Fair in Lithuania. These templates will be used in the workshops during the fair. There are three types of templates provided:

Mask coloring template.
Another mask coloring template.
A template to create your own original mask.
You'll have a wonderful time using these templates to create fun and creative masks. Get inspired by Lithuanian festivals, costumes, and masks, and let your creative ideas flow to make fantastic masks!

Let me also share some insights into Lithuania's Užgavėnės Festival. This traditional Lithuanian festival welcomes the arrival of spring by bidding farewell to winter, similar in spirit to Japan's Setsubun festival. Užgavėnės is known for its costumes and masks, with various elements like pancakes, battles of the characters of the "Lašininis" and "Kanapinis," and the burning of the "Morė" (an effigy symbolizing winter). It's a lively and beautiful celebration that aims to drive away winter and usher in spring.
