タウシュベツ切手のオンライン販売スタート
今週始めに発売されたタウシュベツ川橋梁オリジナル切手。もう手に入れましたか？
ぬかびら源泉郷の施設の他には、十勝管内の郵便局を中心に販売されていたことで、遠方にお住まいの方には中々手に入りにくくなっていました。ただ、今日から郵便局のネットショップで取り扱いが始まっています。
前回の第1弾切手は販売開始と同時に売り切れてしまいましたが、今回は製作数を増やしたこともあり、まだ在庫があるようですので、お求めの方は早めに注文をされると良さそうです。
増刷の予定がありませんので、売り切れ次第販売終了となります。
すでに品切れとなっている第1弾切手には一枚、エゾシカとタウシュベツ川橋梁の写真を採用しています。数年前の秋に撮影していたもので、めったに出会うことのない貴重な場面でした。
これ以上の状況に恵まれることはめったにないだろうと考えていましたが、昨朝、幸運な場面に遭遇しました。
崩落瀬戸際の橋をくぐるエゾシカ
今シーズン、長く低水位が続いている糠平湖では、春に氷の下から現れた茶色の湖底がすっかり緑に変わっています。最近ではそこにエゾシカの群れがやって来るようになりました。
ふだんは、人の気配が絶えないタウシュベツ川橋梁近くまではさすがに近づいて来ません。しかし昨朝は、群れから離れた一頭が夢中で草を食べながら、いつの間にか橋のたもとに近づいていました。
今にも崩れそうなコンクリートアーチ橋の下をエゾシカが行く。当分予定がありませんが、いずれタウシュベツ川橋梁切手第3弾を作る機会があればぜひ使ってみたい。そう思わせるような、絵になる光景でした。
ともかく、写真を提供したオリジナル切手が好評というのは嬉しいものです。

Taushubetsu with the Ezo Deer
Did you already get your hands on the Taushubetsu Bridge original stamps that were released earlier this week? Until now, they were only available at facilities in Nukabira Onsen and post offices primarily within the Tokachi region, making them rather hard to acquire for those residing further afield. However, as of today, they are now available for purchase on the post office's online shop.
The first batch of stamps sold out almost immediately upon release, but this time, thanks to an increase in production, stocks still remain. Please make your purchases early if you're interested, as sales will end once stocks are depleted.
The first edition of stamps, now sold out, features a photograph of an Ezo deer against the backdrop of the Taushubetsu Bridge, a rare and precious sight I was lucky enough to capture a few autumns ago.
I thought I wouldn’t encounter such a scene again for a while, but just this morning, I stumbled upon another moment of serendipity.
This season, due to prolonged low water levels, the bottom of Lake Nukabira, usually brown when it emerges from beneath the ice in spring, has completely transformed into a vibrant green. Recently, herds of Ezo deer have started to visit.
Under normal circumstances, they tend not to approach the ever-bustling vicinity of the Taushubetsu Bridge. But this morning, one lone deer, engrossed in grazing, had unwittingly wandered close to the base of the bridge.
An Ezo deer sauntering beneath the crumbling concrete arch bridge – it was a picture-perfect scene. While there are no immediate plans, should the opportunity to create a third edition of the Taushubetsu Bridge stamps present itself, I would love to use this scene.
The popularity of the original stamps I've provided brings me joy. I also sell them on my online shop, and the stamps' sales are indeed encouraging.
