英会話のレッスン

私が感じている違和感について整理しました。

規定外の話だということを私は理解していたつもりです。その上でお伺いでした。わたしには疑問に思われる点がありました。なぜなら私がキャンセルをした場合にはレッスン一回が失われますが、先生がキャンセルした場合には先生が失うものは何もありません。私がキャンセルした場合には、先生に損出を生じさせてしまいます。そのため私のレッスンが一回分なくなることは了解しています。でも今思うのは、先生が仮にレッスン開始後でも何も損出なくキャンセルできるのであれば、生徒と先生の契約には平等性が欠けていると思います。そのレッスンが振り替えられることは当然だと私は考えます。だってレッスンは行っていないのですから減りようがありません。振り替えるだけでは生徒の損出が考慮されていません。先生がレッスン開始後にキャンセルすることで生徒に生じてしまう損出について先生はどうお考えですか？入れられるはずの予定が入れられなかったことについてはあなたのポリシーでは保護されることがないということが少し信じられません。しかしこの考えは先生には理解されていないようです。すべて私の間違いにより不当に要求しているとあなたには思われているようです。私は困ってしまいました。もしこのポリシーが変わることがないのであれば、レッスンの継続を躊躇します。例え私がレッスンのためだけに自宅に戻り、他のアポイントを断って待っていたとしても、今後も先生は何の予告もなく変更することができます。私にとっては貴重な休日です。いつも時間が足りていません。レッスンがある日はいつも何かを断るか諦めています。先日も外出しており、行かなければならない場所がありましたが、レッスンの為に帰宅しました。レッスンがないと分かっていたらわざわざ帰宅する必要はありませんでした。ところが先生の都合により急遽レッスンが中止になったとしても、それは仕方がないこととして受容れるしか現在はオプションが存在しないのです。先生は私の主張は間違いだと考えますか？ちょっと信じられませんでした。

私の申し出は3月2日のレッスンの返還のみです。そして今後もしまたレッスン開始の24時間以内、または開始後に先生がキャンセルされた場合、どういった対応になるのか、現状のポリシーの見直しを期待しています。

I thought I understood that it was outside of the regulations. I was asking on that basis. I had my doubts. If I cancel, I lose one lesson, but if the teacher cancels, teacher loses nothing. If I canceled, teacher would lose money(lesson). So I understand that I will lose one lesson. But now I think that if the teacher can cancel the lesson even after the lesson has started without any loss, there is a lack of equality in the contract between student and teacher.

I think it is only natural that the lesson should be rescheduled. If this policy is not going to change, I am hesitant to continue lessons. Even if I return home just for the lesson and turn down other appointments to wait, the teacher can change without any notice in the future. For me, it is a precious holiday. I am always short of time. On days when I have lessons I always have to turn something down or give up. The other day I was out of town and had someplace I had to go, but I went home for the lesson. If I had known there was no lesson, I would not have bothered to go home. However, if the lesson is suddenly cancelled due to the teacher's circumstances, there is currently no option but to accept it as inevitable. Do you think that I am wrong in my assertion? I didn't believe it for a second.

My only offer is to return the March 2 lesson. And in the future if the teacher cancels again within 24 hours of the start of the lesson or after the lesson has started, I would like to see a review of the current policy to see how it would be handled.
