宮崎駿が監督を務めるアニメ映画「君たちはどう生きるか」が、第51回アニー賞のキャラクターアニメーション賞（長編）と、絵コンテ賞（長編）を受賞した。

「君たちはどう生きるか」アニー賞でキャラクターアニメーション賞など2冠

1972年に設立され、“アニメーション界のアカデミー賞”と称されるアニー賞。「君たちはどう生きるか」は、キャラクターアニメーション賞（長編）、絵コンテ賞（長編）のほか、長編作品賞、演出賞（長編）、音楽賞（長編）、プロダクションデザイン賞（長編）、脚本賞（長編）の計7部門にノミネートされていた。また「君たちはどう生きるか」を含め数々のジブリ作品で音楽を手がけてきた久石譲が、ウィンザー・マッケイ賞を受賞。同賞は生涯またはキャリアにおける貢献を称える審査員特別賞だ。
