庭先にピンクの百合が咲きました✨✨✨
母が独り言のように、
「百合の球根はどうする？！」と何度も私にしつこく聴くので調べました、、、（笑）

Q.What should I do when the flowering period of bulbs ends?

Bulbs use up all the energy in their bulbs by the time they sprout and bloom, and after blooming, they become thin and thin. Even so, after blooming, the leaves and stems are used for photosynthesis, and the energy obtained through photosynthesis is stored in the bulb again, allowing the plant to bloom in the same way the following year.

球根類は、芽を出させ、花を咲かせるまでに球根の中のエネルギーを使いきって、花を咲かせたあとは、げっそり痩せた状態になっています。それでも、花を咲かせた後に葉と茎を使って光合成をし、そこで得たエネルギーを再び球根の中に蓄えることで、次の年も同じように花を咲かせることができます。
