'Absolution' is more sophisticated and direct than Muse's previous albums. Tracks like "Butterflies and Hurricanes" and "Blackout" feature orchestral performances and incorporate classical influences, including apocalyptic lyrical themes. They processed many of the tracks using synthesizers and music software. The majority of the album was recorded at Grouse Lodge in County Westmeath, Ireland.🌹🌹🌹
