ChroNoiRとは、葛葉と叶のユニット名である。（えっ？！）
略称は「くろのわ」。

名称の由来は「黒」とフランス語で黒を意味する「ノワール（Noir）」から。2人とも黒のイメージがあるため「2つの黒」という意味があり、「黒（Kuro）」の頭文字「K」と2人の名前の頭文字の「K」でダブルミーニングでもある。他にもクロノ（Chrono）がギリシャ語で時間を表すことから「黒の時間」という意味も含めている。*1
