“Candle Queen” by GHOST feat. GUMI 歌詞/意訳

初投稿です。

一部では有名な“Candle Queen”という歌があります。
とても好きな曲なのですが、歌詞の単語が少々難解で、私の拙い英語力では、読んだだけで理解には至りませんでした。

そこで和訳の検索もしてみたところ、いくつかヒットがありました。

しかし、これも直訳などが多く、私の足りない頭ではどういう意味なのか理解が及びません。

そこで、辞書や直訳歌詞と首っ引きで、より理解が深まるように、徹底的に意訳をしてみました。
“caricature” (戯画)を『台本』と訳したり、あえて飛ばした語句が大量に有ったりと、英語の先生が見たら卒倒しそうな超訳の連発です。

ほぼ自己満足というか、備忘録寄りの内容ですが、もしかしたら同じように困っている方がいるかもしれないという予測にすがって、こちらに投稿してみます。
