10月4日〜10日、マーク・フェル氏は訪問教授として課外講座とワークショップを行います。

マーク・フェル（Mark Fell）はシェフィールド（英国）在住のアーティスト。 シェフィールド工芸大学で実験映画やビデオアートを学んだ後、音楽活動を行い、1998年から、Mille Plateaux、Line、Mego、Raster Noton等のレーベルからCDを多数リリースしています。2013年、サリー大学（University of Surrey）で音楽学博士号を取得。音楽のみならず、光、映像や音のインスタレーションも発表し、展覧会やコンサートのキュレーションも多く行っています。https://markfell.com/

課外講座：パフォーマンスにおける時間構造と手順・方法
Time-structure and Procedure in Performance

2023年10月4日（水）18時15分〜19時30分の課外講座では、ソロのエレクトロニック・パフォーマンス、コラボレーション作品、大規模なアコースティック・アンサンブルなど、最近のパフォーマンス・演奏作品におけるミクロおよびマクロの時間構成について話します。コンピュータを使ったパターン生成の例や、（複数のパフォーマーの相互作用が時間的に形成される）形式化されたフレームワークを紹介し、考察します。

Fell will discuss the evolution of his procedural approaches to micro and macro time-structuring in his recent performative works - including solo electronic performances, collaborative works, and larger acoustic ensembles. Examples of computer-based pattern-generation as well as formalised frameworks (where the interactions of multiple performers are shaped over time) are presented and examined.

10月4日〜10日、ワークショップを行います。

ワークショップでは、グループ・パフォーマンスへの体系化されたアプローチに焦点を当てる。ここでは、自由、構造、主体性、傾聴などについての問いかけを促す手続き的な構造を定義し、探求します。ワークショップはキャンパス内で行われますが、10月5日に都内でサウンド・レコーディングへのパフォーマティブなアプローチについて提案し、実践します。これは、都市における心理地理学的介入としての状況主義者（situationists）の「dérive」の伝統に従ったものです。セッションはグループ・プレゼンテーション（10月9日）、最後にはレビュー・ディスカッション（10月10日）を行います。

The workshop sessions focus on systematised approaches to group performance. Here we will define and explore procedural structures that prompt questions about freedom, structure, agency, listening and the like. The workshops will take place on campus, with a day in the city where we will consider performative approaches to recording and sound collection. This follows the tradition of the situationists’ “dérive” as a psychogeographic intervention in urban being. The sessions will culminate in a group presentation and reflective discussion.
