プログラミングは本当に不要になるのか？

NvidiaのCEO、ジェンスン・フアン（Jensen Huang）氏が「AIがコードを書くのでもうプログラミングを学ぶ必要はない」と発言し、物議を醸し出しています。

とても面白いスピーチだったので、書き起こして翻訳してみました。

I want to say something, and it’s going to sound completely opposite to all the people feel.
Over the course of the last 10 years, 15 years, almost everybody who sits on a like this would tell you that it is vital that your children
Computer science. Everybody should learn how to program. And in fact, it is almost exactly the opposite. It is our job to create computing technology such that nobody has to program and that the programming language is human. Everybody in the world is now a programmer. This is the miracle of artificial intelligence. The country and the people that understand how to solve the domain problem in digital biology or in the education of young people, manufacturing, or in farming. People who understand domain expertise now can utilize technology that is readily available to you. You now have a computer that will do what you tell it to do. It is vital that we upscale everyone, and the upscaling process, I believe, will be delightfully surprising.

「皆さんに伝えたいことがあります。それは、おそらく皆さん全員が感じていることと全く逆のことを言うことになると思いますが、聞いてください。
過去10年、15年間、このような壇上の席に座る人たちは皆、「子供にコンピュータサイエンスを学ばせることが極めて重要だ」と語ってきました。誰もが、プログラミングを学ぶべきだと。しかし、実際はほぼ真逆なのです。我々の仕事は、誰もがプログラミングをしなくても済むようなコンピューティング技術を創造し、プログラミング言語が「人間」になることです。世界中の人が皆プログラマーになるのです。これが人工知能の奇跡です。デジタル生物学、若者の教育、製造業、農業といった分野における問題解決方法を理解している国や人々。ドメイン知識を理解している人々は今すぐこの技術を活用することができます。今では、あなたが指示を出せばそれを実行してくれるコンピュータが存在します。誰に対しても、スキルアップが不可欠です。そして、そのスキルアップのプロセスは、驚くほど喜ばしいものになるだろうと信じています。」
