猫との思い出　　　　　　　　　　　　図書館猫けいた　その1　　　　　　　(图书馆猫经太 Keita the library cat)

 　10年前の夏、私はとある大学図書館のパート職員の面接を受けに行った。面接会場がわからず迷子になった私は、図書館のカウンターで尋ねてみることにした。

　十年前的夏天我去参加了大学图书馆计时工的面试。我怎么也找不到面试会场，所以我去图书馆的服务台问了一下。

  I went to have a job interview for a part-time job at a university library in summer 10 years ago. I couldn't find the interview room, so I asked the librarian at the counter where it was.

　カウンターの司書さんはとても親切に会場への行き方を教えてくれた。お礼を言い、会場に向かおうと振り向いたその時、壁に貼ってある一枚の新聞記事のコピーが目に入った。そこには一匹の猫の写真が載っていた。

   那个图书管理员非常热情地告诉我面试会场该怎么走。我向她表示了感谢，转身离开的时候，我看见了墙上贴着一张复印的报纸。那上面有一张一只猫的照片。

  She told me how to get there very kindly. I thanked her for her help. When I looked back to get the room, I saw a copy of an article of a newspaper on the wall. There was a picture of a cat on the article.

 　グレーに黒と白のしましま、まんまる顔の太っちょ猫。記事によると、名前は「けいた」と言い、年齢二、三歳と思われるオス猫で、毎日図書館に「出勤」し、職員たちが彼の面倒を見ているという。

     那是只灰色，黑色，和白色相间的猫，圆圆的脑袋，身子有点儿胖。报纸上说它叫经太，可能是一只两，三岁的公猫。它每天来图书馆上班，职员们负责照管它。

  It's a plump, gray cat with black and white stripes. Also, it had a round face. According to the article, its name was Keita, which was a two or three-year-old male cat. He came to work at the office in the library, and the staff there took care of him.

　図書館に猫がいるなんてめずらしい、と思った。もし、ここで働くことができたら、彼と一緒に働けるかも！猫好きの私にとって、ここはまさに最高の職場！そんなことを思いながら面接会場に向かった。

　我觉得图书馆有只猫，很少见。如果我能在这儿工作的话，我就会和他一起工作！对喜欢猫的我来说，这儿就是最高的地方！我这样想着向面试会场走去了。

 I thought that it's so uncommon that there was a cat at the library. I imagined if I could have gotten this job, I would work with him. Here would be the best office for me because I am a cat person. I headed to the interview room while thinking about such happy things.
