気分は冷凍庫〜極寒にご注意!

北極前線がやってきた！ホワイトクリスマスはもちろん。今週末は全米で1500便欠航、700便が欠航予定となる大寒波に見舞われています。
うちのコミュニティーにもこんなメール↓が届きました。

An arctic front is to arrive in our area Thursday 12/22/22. Below are some helpful tips to prepare for this weather.
Residents are encouraged to prepare for the possibility of hard freezes across the area.
Remember to protect the four P's: People, Pets, Pipes, and Plants:
People should dress warmly and in layers. Check on family, friends, and neighbors who may be susceptible to this week's cold weather and/or not have access to housing and heating, including the elderly and those with special needs.
Pets should be brought indoors or provided with a warm place to sleep. Never left outside unattended.
Plants may need to be covered or brought inside to avoid frost damage.
Open kitchen and bathroom cabinets under your sinks to allow heat to enter them.
We are having our maintenance and contractor crews inspect the front pipes and reinsulate them as needed this week. Please wrap up any hose bibs that you may have on your enclosed patios.
