“it” が示すもの、それはカネやそれに群がる人々でしょうか。拝金主義, 物質主義に対する嫌悪感がこれでもかと込められています。主人公はそれに基づいた世界を転覆させようとしますが、しかし最後に勝利するのはヤツら。何事も無く世の中は周り、馴染めなかった主人公が取り残されていくのです。
