ittala Kuusi　 イッタラ クーシ

Kuusiはモミの木という意味です。

Kuusiには数字の6という意味もあり、12角形の側面に6本のモミの木が施されています。

1980年代製造、デザイナーはヨルマ.ベンノーラです。

いつまでもそこに置きたくなる大きさで、
光の反射がきれいです。

このKuusiのキャンドルホルダーは、東京の蔵前にあるノールランドさんというお店で出会いました。
本当は他のキャンドルホルダーを目当てに行ったのですが、あいにく売れ切れで、店内をウロウロしていました。

残念なきもちでしたが、太陽光に照らされているKuusiを見つけ、一目惚れ。
長く使うだろうと思いました。

私にとって、北欧ヴィンテージに惹かれるようになったきっかけのモノです。

Kuusi is means fir tree.

Kuusi also means the number 6, and there are 6 fir trees on the side of the 12 square shape.

Manufactured in the 1980s, the designer is Jorma Vennola.

It's the size I want to put there forever, and the reflection of light is beautiful.

I found this Kuusi candle holder at a shop called Norland in Kuramae in Tokyo.
Actually, I went for another candle holder, but unfortunately it was sold out and was wandering around the store.

I felt sorry, but I found Kuusi, illuminated by sunlight and fell in love at first sight.
I thought I would use it for a long time.

For me, it's the reason why I became attracted to Nordic vintage.
