Japan to Extend Health Care ‘Eligibility Certificate’ to 5 Years

Read the passage and summarise about 70 words.

     ❶Recently, the government in Japan plans  to use My Number card date instead of using  health insurance certificates. Some people agree the plan, other people don't. There is a problem. For example, last time My Number cade date was linked to other people and most of the people don't have My Number card. ❷ However, There is a merit. For instance, those who have My Number card can use it easily as health insurance certificates. ❸ But, it has a lot of problems, so the government should extend health care eligibility certificates to 5 years.(102 words?)

どうなのだろうか。初めての試みなので, 上手くいったか微妙なところである。

字数を大きく超えてしまっているところが先ず, 減点の対象となる。次に, 要約になっているのかという問題にもなる。要約をする際, ❶主題を書き, 問題点と利点を書き, ❷ 問題点の具体例と利点の具体例を挙げ, ❸自分の言葉で言い換えて(=パラフレーズをして)まとめるというのが, TEAP Task Aのやり方である。

その点を考慮に入れると今回の要約は成功したとは言えない。とは言えど, 初めての試み, その限りにおいては評価しても良いのだろう。1日に1回でも良いから, The Japan Times や The Japan News (Yomiuri)を読んで, 要約をする練習をして, どんどん改良をしていく。

しばらく更新をしていないせいで, 編集の仕方も忘れている。学び直そう。
