Member Interview Vol. 7~ Developing organization and structure as a company~

Today, I'm introducing our COO/CFO, Mr. Kondo. 

- Could you tell me your role at Lily MedTech?

I've just appointed to COO / CFO this July and I’m responsible for manufacturing, sales, administration and so on. 

-Could you share your background with me?

I wanted to be a part of a company which produces something tangible and I joined a manufacturing company after graduating from the university. I was responsible for finance and accounting, and in charge of cost accounting. I left that company to join a start-up company for which I had been involved in since I was a student. I've done various things from organization development, opening subsidiaries, developing new business and so on. After leaving that start-up, I'd been working as a freelance consultant and that's how I met Lily MedTech. I had great sympathy for its socially meaningful business and decided to join the company. 

-What are your motivation and challenges? 

Lily MedTech is in a very important moment to brush up our research results which took great efforts of our development teams and launch the "product" in the market. I feel I'm appointed to a very important role and I want to respond to the expectations of all people who's waiting for our breast cancer screening machine. I trust we can achieve this important mission through cooperating each other and accomplishing each task.  

-How do you find Lily MedTech? 

There are lots of members who has rich experience in various fields and strong character in a good sense. I always learn something from these colleagues. I also enjoy going for drinks with them!  

-Could you tell me a bit about your personal life? 

I used to enjoy football and futsal but I currently play golf.  Unfortunately, I cannot enjoy golf as often as before due to covid-19 so I started road bike cycling. In rainy days, I overhaul my bike or visit cycle shops.
