Hello! This is part of 野良猫のユウ's project to select 10 songs from 2023. Similar to my previous posts, as I'm not a native Japanese speaker, most of the Japanese translation will be done through an translation tool, with a few edits by me (for names and pronouns) with my limited knowledge of Japanese.

1 The Trampoline / ISA

今年の中で間違いなく私のお気に入りのオリジナル曲の一つです。ISAは、作詞、歌う、ビデオ制作のすべての才能を結集した天才的な曲を作りました。ISAの個性的なスタイルに満ち、何度も繰り返し聴くには非常に耳に優しいです。創造性は間違いなくトップレベルです。
Easily one of my favorite original sings this year. ISA made a genius song that combined all her talents in song writing, performing, and video making. It is full of her individual style, and is very easy on the ears to listen to repeatedly. The creativity is definitely top level.

2 Deep Sleep Sheep / HACHI

HACHIにとっては多くの曲とパフォーマンスがある大きな一年でした。この曲は、セミローファイスタイルが特徴で、HACHIの通常の曲とは異なります。これは非常に力強く感情的であることに焦点を当てておらず、むしろリラックスしてソフトな眠りを誘う曲です。今年、繰り返し聴くのが楽しいHACHIの曲の一つでした。
It was a big year for HACHI with lots of songs and performances. This song stood out to me because of the semi-Lofi style, which is different from her usual songs. This wasn't focused on being super strong and emotional, but rather a chill and soft sleep inducing song. Definitely a song that was a treat for me to listen on repeat this year.

3 六道伍感さんぽ／戌亥とこ

2023年の最後の四半期で私が最も繰り返し聴いた曲です。とこさんは間違いなく力強く素晴らしい歌声を持っています。特にこの曲は私にとって、頭を振り続けるのにぴったりなノートを全て打ち込んでいます。正確なリズム、ボリューム、そしてペーシングがあり、何回聴いても新鮮な感触を与えてくれます。MV自体も非常に興味深く、曲の興味深い解釈があります。様々な要素を組み合わせて、これは確かに素晴らしい曲として際立っています。
My most repeated song in the last quarter of 2023. Toko undoubtedly had s strong and amazing singing voice. This song in particular just hits all the right note for me to to bob my head to endlessly. It's got the right rhythm, volume, and pacing to feel fresh no matter how many times I listen to it. The MV itself is also super interesting, with an interesting interpretation of the song. My combining various elements, it definitely stood out as an amazing song.

4 Regret / モナミブルー

今年はたくさんのVocaDuoの曲に心を奪われました。このチームのオリジナル曲でこんさんがボーカルを務めるものは、間違いなく私のお気に入りの一つでした。感情がたくさん混ざり合っており、徐々に強度が増しています。最初のコーラスの後にドラムが追加されることで、曲に全く新しい感覚がもたらされ、継続的に進化し改善されています。
I fell in love with a lot of VocaDuo sing this year. This teams original song with Kon as vocals definitely was one of my favorites. There are a lot of emotions mixed in, with a gradual incline in the intensity. The addition of the drum after the first chorus really helps bring a whole new feeling to the song, as it continuously evolve and improve.

5 明日の君の空は晴れ / 夢羽九 prod. by MC粗木

私が一番カバーしたいと思っている曲です。聴くたびに私の日を明るくしてくれます。夢羽九さんの可愛らしい声と非常にキャッチーなビートの組み合わせは、確かに素晴らしさのレシピです。私はアルバム全体に詳細に書きましたので、ぜひ以下をチェックしてください。
The song I want to make a cover of the most. It brightens up my day every time I listen to it. The cuteness of Yumeba Ku's voice combined with the very catchy beat is definitely a recipe for greatness. I wrote in detail about the whole album, be sure to check it out below.

6 宇宙遊泳 /  長瀬有花

長瀬有花の音楽はいつも非常にユニークで特別であり、彼女自身のスタイルに満ちています。新しいアルバムのリリースパーティーのライブパフォーマンスを見ることができて本当に嬉しいです。この曲は、その柔らかさから目立ち、長瀬有花の歌唱の美しさを際立たせています。宇宙を駆け抜けるかのように、キャッチーなビートとダンスは永遠に私の心に刻まれるでしょう。 
Yuka Nagase's music is always super unique and special, as they are full of her style. I am so glad I got to watch her performance live at the new album's release party. This song stood out to me because of how soft it is, highlighting the beauty of Yuka's singing. Like a ride through space, the catchy beat and dance will forever be engrained in my mind. 

7 FOGBOUND / ねりあん feat.それ故

それ故さんの歌声はいつも私の心に特別な場所を占めています。彼女の柔らかく美しい、そして囁きのようなニュアンスは、確かに私が惚れる声です。それ故さんが作詞を手がけたねりあんの「Fogbound」は美しく神秘的な雰囲気があります。曲中の繰り返しは、まるで古い英語の童謡のようで、謎に満ちた森に導かれていく感じがします。これを聴き続けられるなら、逃げ出したいとは思いません。
Soreyue's singing always holds a special place in my heart. Her soft and beautiful with a hint of whisper is definitely a voice I'd fall in love with. Fogbound, a song by Nerian that she wrote the lyrics for has this beautiful and mysterious atmosphere to it. The repetition in the song feels like old English nursery rhymes where you're lead into a forest full of mystery. I'm not sure I'd want to escape if I can keep listening to this.

8 雨のゆくえ / ミドリノハサミ

この曲は遅れて知ることになり、そのため月刊の記事には書いていませんでした。ただし、ミドリノハサミさんのこのオリジナル曲は、まさにちょうど良いくらいのリラックス感があります。風鈴の音が歌を通して小さな雨粒のようで、テーマに非常に適しています。歌声は柔らかく、それでいて感情に溢れています。リズムには少しのキックとポップがあり、私は頭を振りたくなり、雨の中で無邪気に踊りたくなります。
I found out about the song late, so I never really wrote about it in my monthly article. However this original song by Midori no Hasami is the perfect level of chill. The chime noise sounds like little droplets of rain through the song, very fitting for the theme. The singing voice is soft yet filled with emotions. There's a bit of kick and pop to the rhythm that makes me want to bob my head and dance in the rain aimlessly.

9 秘密のショコラ / こじらせハラスメント

3人の素晴らしいミュージシャンによる天才的な曲です。彼らが特別なテーマを持つユニークな曲を作り出す能力は本当に素晴らしいものです。彼らの独特な声が調和して、どんなときでも私を笑顔にさせる曲ができ上がっています。それは楽しくて同時にインスパイアされるものです。
A genius song by 3 amazing musicians. Their ability to create a unique song with a special theme is nothing short of amazing. Their distinct voices come together in harmony for a song that makes me smile no matter what. It is fun and inspiring at the same time.

10 Turning Point. / 雪乃イト feat. Hanon

VocaDuoの別の曲が本当に印象的でした。Hanonがオリジナルの英語の曲で完璧に歌う能力は驚きでした。チームは私を本当に感動させる曲を作曲しました。これは2000年代初頭のAvril Lavigneとの私の子供時代を思い出させるもので、確かに楽しい曲です。
Another song from VocaDuo that really stood out to me. Hanon's ability to sing perfectly in an original English song was a surprise. The team composed a really inspiring song that reminded me of my childhood in the early 2000's with Avril Lavigne. Definitely a fun song.
