英語日記#23 飲食店の評価方法について？

おはようございます！
今日は久しぶりに雨が降ってますね。雨の日は本当に嫌いです。晴れていないことにより心がどんよりしてしまうのと、低気圧で頭が痛いのも雨が嫌いな理由です。

It's raining for the first time in a while today. I really hate rainy days. I hate rain because it's not sunny, and my head hurts because of the low pressure.
今日は飲食店を選ぶときの変化についてお話ししたいと思います。つまり、どのような媒体やサイトなどをみてお店に行くのか？また行きたいと思うのか？についてお話ししたいと思います。最近この考え方が変わってきたと思っているので、そのあたりを私の考えとしてお話ししたいと思います！
Today I would like to talk about the changes when choosing a restaurant. In other words, what kind of media or website do you go to the store? do you want to go again? I would like to talk about I think that this way of thinking has changed recently, so I would like to talk about it as my opinion!
私が考えるお店選びのポイントを三つご紹介したいと思います。
I would like to introduce three points that I think about when choosing a shop.
①信頼できる人からの紹介
紹介されて嫌なお店は一件もなかったと思います。もちろん人気店も多くあるので、食べログで選んでも変わらないじゃんと言われる場合もあるかと思います。しかし、評点が低くても信頼できる人がおすすめしている場合は総じて素晴らしいお店が多かったです。
I don't think there was a single shop that I didn't like being introduced to. Of course, there are many popular restaurants, so you may be told that even if you choose a restaurant on the Tabelog, it won't change. However, even if the score is low, if a reliable person recommends it, there are many wonderful shops in general.
②インスタで誰かが投稿している、またはお店自身がインスタで発信している
①に近いですが、インスタ経由でお店を見ると、リアルなその時の写真が掲載されているため、お店の雰囲気などが全てわかる気がします。また、お店自身もインスタ経由で予約を取ることも増えてきており、お店自身もインスタをうまく活用しており、ファンとのコミニュケーションができるようにしていると思います。
また、食べログの評価とかはではない、自分だけが知ってる感が、ファン獲得には重要になっており、あえて食べログに載せていない場合もあるため、そのようなお店はおおよそ美味しいお店が多い印象です。
②Someone posted it on Instagram, or the shop itself posted it on Instagram
It's close to ①, but if you look at the shop via Instagram, you can see the atmosphere of the shop because there are real photos from that time. In addition, the number of shops taking reservations via Instagram is increasing, and the shops themselves are making good use of Instagram, and I think they are trying to communicate with fans.
Also, the feeling that only you know, not the evaluation of the eating log, is important for gaining fans, and there are cases where it is not posted on the eating log, so such shops are generally delicious shops. It is an impression that there are many.
③Googleの評点
食べログの評点ではなく、Googleの評点を重視しています。食べログの評点は確かに4以上のお店は間違いないのですが、3の前半から中盤あたりの評価はイメージと違う店舗が多い印象です。例えば私の大好きな神田のお店ブラインドドンキーは、Googleの評点はめちゃくちゃ高いです。本当に素晴らしいお店なので嬉しいです。
一方食べログでは下記のように3.51の評価になっています。
食べログの採点のロジックがわからず評価しづらいのですが、Googleの評価はシンプルなアルゴリズムで評価されており、顧客の反応がダイレクトに評点に出ている気がします。
③ Google rating
We focus on Google's rating, not on Tabelog's rating. There is no doubt that the restaurant has a rating of 4 or higher on Tabelog, but I have the impression that many restaurants with a rating of 3 in the first half to the middle are different from what I imagined. For example, my favorite store in Kanda, Blind Donkey, has a very high Google rating. I am very happy because it is a wonderful shop.

On the other hand, Tabelog has a rating of 3.51 as shown below.

It's hard to evaluate because I don't understand the scoring logic of the eating log, but Google's evaluation is based on a simple algorithm, and I feel that the customer's reaction is directly reflected in the score.
以上の３つが私が最近お店を調べる時に重視していることです。一般的には、食べログの評価をもとに判断される方が多いと思いますが、私は、食べログをセカンドオピニオン的に活用しています。食べログは少しずつ自分とのギャップが出始めており、食べログだけでは判断できなくなってきております。（お店側が加入していないことある）
These three things are what I focus on when I look up shops these days. In general, I think there are many people who make judgments based on the evaluation of the eating log, but now I use the eating log as a second opinion. As for the eating log, the gap between me and myself is starting to appear little by little, and it is becoming difficult to make decisions based on the eating log alone. (Some shops do not join)
