英語日記#19 女性のおっさん化について

おはようございます！今日は最高の天気です。全て嫌な事を忘れて前向きに色々取り組んでいけそうです。

good morning!  The weather is perfect today.  It seems that I can forget all the things I don't like and work positively.

今日は女性の【おっさん】化について考えていきたいと思います。最近、なぜそう思うようになったかについて、お話ししたいと思います。
そのきっかけとなるブームがあると思いまして、そのブーム二つ紹介して、おっさん化について私なりの見解を述べたいと思います。

Today, I would like to think about women's [uncle] transformation.  I would like to talk about why I have come to think so recently.
 I think there is a boom that will trigger that, and I would like to introduce two of those booms and give my own opinion on the transformation into an old man.

①ショートカットブーム
最近私の周りにかなりショートカットの女性が増えてきました。ショートが子供っぽいなどのコメントはあると思いますが、今はかなりお洒落なショートが増えていて、大人っぽくカットできていると思います。そのカット技術が発展した事により一気に広がっている印象があります。男性で言うとツーブロックのような存在になっている気がします。
では大人っぽいという見た目以外の部分でどのようなメリットが女性にあるのか、考えてみたいと思います。主に下記だと考えています。
・髪の毛を乾かす時間が短縮
・セットする手間がなくなる（アイロンやコテがいらない）
・涼しい
・結ばなくて良い

などです。

① Short hair cut boom
 Lately, I've been seeing more and more women with short haircuts around me.  I think there are some comments about short hair being childish, but there are a lot of fashionable short hair these days, and I think I can cut it like an adult.  There is an impression that it is spreading at once due to the development of the cutting technology.  In terms of men, I feel that it is like two blocks.
 So, I would like to think about what benefits women have in areas other than the appearance of being mature.  I think it's mainly the following.
 -Reduced time to dry hair
 ・Eliminates the trouble of setting (no need for iron or trowel)
 ·cool
 ・No need to tie

 Etc.

②スニーカーが流行っている
昔は女性はハイヒールを履いて長い髪でいかに女性らしく振る舞うかを気にしていたと思います。今は多くの女性がスニーカーを履いているのをよく見かけます
この前アパレルの経営者の方とお話しした際も今度女性専用のスニーカーショップをしようと考えているとおっしゃってもいました。そのくらい女性がスニーカーを活用しているのだと思います。

なぜスニーカーが選ばれるのか？
と言う点に関しては下記が考えられると思います。
・ヒールに比べて歩きやすい、楽
・どんな服装にも合う
・オシャレなスニーカーが増えてきた
・安い
・健康志向から運動ニーズ（ウォーキングなど）

他にも理由があると思いますが、大きな理由は上記だと思います。

②Sneakers are popular
 I think in the past, women were concerned about how to behave like women with high heels and long hair.  I often see many women wearing sneakers now.
 When I talked to an apparel manager the other day, he said that he was thinking of opening a sneaker shop exclusively for women.  I think women are using sneakers to that extent.

 Why Choose Sneakers?
 Regarding the point, I think that the following can be considered.
 ・Easy to walk in compared to heels
 - Goes well with any outfit
 ・Fashionable sneakers are increasing
 ·cheap
 ・Increase in exercise needs (walking, etc.) due to health consciousness

 I'm sure there are other reasons, but I think the above is the main reason.

この二つの流れから、女性も男性的志向が出てきているのかなと直感的に感じました。男性の短髪ニーズも手入れが楽であったり、それでいて、かっこよく決まるツーブロックなどがブームになったと理解しております。
その傾向と近い現象が女性側にも増えています。働く女性も増え、家事、育児、プライベートなど時間的に限られた中で、コスパよくすごいアイテムに二つのブームがあるのではないかと思います。今後さらに女性が活躍する社会の中でこの流れはさらに加速すると思いますので、自分の仕事でも意識していきたいと思います。

From these two trends, I intuitively felt that women are also becoming masculine-oriented.  I understand that men's needs for short hair, which is easy to care for, and that two blocks that look cool have become a boom.
 A phenomenon similar to this trend is also increasing among women.  As the number of working women increases and time is limited for housework, childcare, and private life, I think there will be two booms in items that are great for cost performance.  I think that this trend will accelerate in society where women are more active in the future, so I would like to be conscious of it in my work as well.
