夜明け前

半分の残った密陀僧色の月が、まだ夜明け前のしらみかけた空に浮かんでいる。
今日も、ちょっとした商店街を月に向かって歩く。
飲み屋の看板の下では、朝まで疲れ切った若者たちが、立ち話をしている。
今日もはじまったというゆうのに、彼らにとっては昨日の終わり。

いつもの出勤ルートは、昨日と今日の交差点。

The half-remnant moon, the color of a dusky monk, floats in the still pre-dawn lilac sky. The route to the station is a walk along a little shopping street toward the moon. Under the signs of bars, young people, exhausted until morning, are standing around talking. It is the end of yesterday for them, even though today has just begun.

The usual route to work is the intersection of yesterday and today.
