追悼シルヴェイン・シルヴェイン by ネモト・ド・ショボーレ（CHILDISH TONES）

「シルヴェイン・シルヴェイン」同じ名前を2度繰り返す奇妙な名前を初めて知ったのは、10代の終わりくらいだった。

パンクロックと出会い、ジョニー・サンダースを好きになって「NEW YORK DOLLS」を知る。

クルクルのくせっ毛でグレッチのギターを弾きまくるシルヴェインはカッコよかった。

その30年後、俺はシルヴェインの代表曲、"TEENAGE NEWS"に日本語の歌詞を付けてレコードを作ることになる。

ロックンロールに夢中なティーンエイジャーの、青臭いモラトリアムを肯定するような歌にした。

その歌に出てくる男の子は、きっとクルクルのくせっ毛でおもちゃのギターを持っている。

それは少年時代のシルヴェインかもしれないなって思った。

シルヴェインが残したキャッチーで小気味良いビートの軽快なロックンロールがつまったレコードは、これからもたくさんの人たちが聴き続けると思う。ティーンエイジャーの気分で。

It was in my late teens that I first heard the strange name "Sylvain Sylvain" repeated twice.

I discovered punk rock, fell in love with Johnny Thunders and discovered the New York Dolls.

Sylvane with his curly hair and Gretsch guitar was so cool.

Thirty years later I was asked to write the lyrics to Sylvane's classic song "Teenage News" in Japanese for a record.

It was an affirmation of the youthful moratorium of teenagers obsessed with rock and roll.

The boy in the song must have curly hair and a toy guitar.

I thought that might be the Sylvane of my youth.

I'm sure many people will continue to listen to Sylvane's records, which are full of light rock and roll with a catchy little beat. I feel like a teenager.

J'étais à la fin de mon adolescence quand j'ai entendu pour la première fois le nom étrange de "Sylvain Sylvain", le même nom répété deux fois.

J'ai été initié au punk rock, je suis tombé amoureux de Johnny Thunders et j'ai appris à connaître les New York Dolls. Sylvain était tellement cool, jouant de sa guitare Gretsch avec ses cheveux bouclés.

Trente ans plus tard, arriva le jour où j'ai décide d'écrire des paroles pour la chanson classique de Sylvain "Teenage News" en japonais et en faire un disque. J'en ai fait une chanson qui affirme le moratoire de la jeunesse des adolescents obsédés par le rock 'n' roll.

J'imagine que le garçon dans la chanson doit avoir les cheveux bouclés et une guitare jouet, et peut-être même que c'est Sylvain quand il était enfant.

Je suis sûr que beaucoup de gens continueront à écouter les disques de Sylvain, qui sont remplis de rock 'n' roll léger et accrocheur avec un bon rythme, et se sentir comme un adolescent.
