Let's start with the ever-popular Asakusa, a favorite among foreigners. When we talk about Asakusa, we can't miss mentioning the Kaminarimon Gate of Senso-ji Temple.
まずは外国人に大人気の浅草から紹介します。浅草といったら浅草寺の雷門。

At first, it was called the "Fujin-Raijin Gate" with Wind God on the right and Thunder God on the left. Over time, it became known as the "Kaminarimon" or "Thunder Gate." Don't forget to peek behind the big lantern for "Fujin-Raijin Gate.""
この雷門は右に風神像、左に雷神像があることから「風神雷神門」と呼ばれていましたが、いつからかわかりませんが「雷門」と言われるようになりました。大提灯の裏側には「風神雷神門」と書かれているので見てね。
