1. Vietnamese travel predictions for post-Covid19 travel, a survey by Agoda (conducted in July 2021)

Regarding recovery

- Within six months, 60% predict that domestic tourism will resume, while 62% thinks outbound travel will remain restricted.
- Nearly half of people believe that in-bound tourism will take longest time to recover, maybe up to 12 months, or until at least 80% of Vietnam's population is vaccinated. Among cities, Da Nang people are the most optimistic, saying that its in-bound tourism can recover after about 4-6 months.
Regarding post-pandemic travel behavior, top concerns of are:
- 63% expect travel service providers to conduct more preventative measures
- 57% hope everyone gets vaccinated at least 1 dose before travel.

2. Tiktok dance challenge of the Korean Tourism Organization has attracted more than 269 million views in Vietnam.

>Mini contest of simple 15-second dance "Feel the Korean rhythm" is held from 28/8 – 21/9, with a prize value of more than 100 million VND on emerging SNS Tiktok.
>The majority of the audience is K-pop fans, students, teenagers, dance lovers, Tiktok KOL which contributed to a huge views number.

3. Tomorrow (September 9), leaders of Kien Giang province and its Phu Quoc City will have a meeting with the VNAT and Ministry on a pilot plan to welcome international tourists to Phu Quoc island, in order to submit to the Prime Minister.

According to the previous draft plan sent, Phu Quoc expected to welcome international visitors from October 1, with amount of around 2,000 - 3,000 guests/month. Visitors have to get fully vaccinated, and took PCR test.

4. Khanh Hoa province relaxes social distancing from September 8, researching on tourism re-opening plan

>The city has allowed people going out, restaurants/ cafe for taking away, business activity of enterprises under certain regulations after lock down period.
>The province is also expect to open domestic tourism under certain requirements and plan for using "vaccine passports" to revive inbound travel.
