Lesson24 "My vacation in Europe"を参考に英作文してみました。

My vacation in Singapore

Hi, I’m Masako. I’m from Nagano Prefecture in Japan. It is surrounded by a rich and natural environment. I think my favorite activity is visiting new places. My family also enjoy traveling. I have traveled a lot with my family.

A few years ago, I went on vacation to Singapore with my husband. We went to Universal Studios Singapore. When going on roller coasters, they didn’t allow any baggage on rides. The locker was free for first 1 hour, I thought it would be OK for just 1 hour, so I left everything in there.

But it actually took more than 1 hour till I got back after the ride.
But, you know, I put everything in the locker including my purse, so I can’t pay! I looked around if there is someone who is in charge of managing the locker, but I couldn’t find anyone.

After twenty minutes, I ended up finding the staff who opened it for me!
I really appreciated it.

今日の感想

今日はシンガポール旅行の思い出を書いてみたのですが、海外でのトラブルは特に記憶に残りますよね。

この時は「何とかロッカーを開けないと自分の荷物が取り出せない！」と焦り、必死でスタッフの方につたない英語で開けてもらえるよう頼んだのを覚えています。

その時スタッフの方は私の必死の訴えに押され、すぐにロッカーを開けてくれ、「お金はいいから。」と、去って行きました。

この経験から、「つたない英語でも必死に喋れば伝わる。」と思ったのと同時に、「やはりもっとも英語を喋れるようになりたい。もっとコミュニケーションが取れるようになりたい。」と思いました。

みなさんも色んな思いがあって英語を勉強されていると思いますが、みなさんの英語を勉強したその先には、どんな場所で、どんな人たちと、どんな事を話していると思いますか？
