My words at the time of production in 2011
This "Travel the World" was created in 2008.
It was originally created as an A3 size spread, which was a very large picture for me to draw in CG at that time. I remember that I was in a period of great confusion, wondering what to draw...how to draw it...drawing and losing it, thinking over and over, consulting with my teachers, seniors, friends...and many others.
I tried hard to make it into a picture book, but it didn't work out, and I gave up on the idea of making it into a book due to a number of things. However, when I posted it on pixiv to motivate myself to create a better work, I received many comments saying they wanted to see it in a book, and I strongly thought, "Someday, when I have more power, I will create it as a work of art.
Three years have passed since then. It has been quite a long time since then, but I am pleased to announce the publication of "Sekai no Tabi" (Travel the World). It is a work that I am deeply attached to, and I am deeply grateful that you have taken the time to read it.
The most difficult thing for me was how to put it all together as a work of art, since the way I paint and think has changed over the years. I also wondered if it would be a meandering step to add a new work to the one that I had already completed, or if it would just be a spoiler.
Then I thought to myself, "If I'm going to do this, I might as well go all out with the story. I thought, "Let me, as of today, be the narrator who guides you through my "Sekai no Tabi"(Travel the World) in 2008.
Secrets of the Trunk Case
I wonder what's in the trunk case.
From the beginning, I have a "key" and a "PASS."
After the deep forest, a small leaf was engraved.
After the castle ball, a little note was inscribed.
Through a world of black and white, a little heart was engraved.
She packed up and slipped out of the little box.
It only takes a tiny moment to realize it's a treasure chest.
Yes, if you look closely, you see, there's a story inside every leaf
Everything she heard and saw was packed in the trunk
She traveled the world.
Secrets of the Keyhole
If it is red, does it look like a girl?
If it is black, is it a keyhole?
Is it a keyhole closed by chains, or is it your shadow, and who opens it?
The overlapping keys must always be there
I inserted it gently so I wouldn't lose sight of it
My Soliloquy Around the World
The world changes depending on who's looking.
The world I see is different from the world she sees.
Maybe there are as many answers as there are people.
Or maybe there are no answers at all
Still, if I touch the world, something will change
I'm sure the colored butterflies will fly away into the sky
If I don't turn away
The world is so beautiful

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has read "Sekai no Tabi" (Travel the World).
If you look closely, you can see a forest in a single leaf.
Flowers are blooming, birds are singing, clouds are flowing, and if I picture the scene
I can create my own unique pattern, even though it is different from the real thing.
I painted the world I thought I could, even though I was lost in the process.

What I think about this work now that it is published
The circulation of this picture book was 250 copies. It was published 11 years ago, but sold out only three years ago. It took me a long, long time to recover the cost of the book, although it eventually turned out to be profitable. I continued to create for a long time while working, and this piece, which gradually sold through mail order, has become a very important piece for me.
When I started NFT, I thought about what kind of collection I wanted to make, and this picture book came to mind. When my days were just passing by, I think I myself forgot that my world was rainbow-colored.
Then the girl in "Sekai no Tabi"(Travel the World) told me that she was going on another journey.
She said, "There is a special pattern for the 366 days of the year. I am going to look for it."
With her new trunk case, she set out on her journey.
That led here.
I would like to make this "Travel the World" into a NFT, and am working with a friend of mine who is a video creator on the idea of making it into a video. However, it is difficult to make a video because the file size of FND is limited to 50 MB...
Four one-picture works were minted in FND.
