#101 上司も楽じゃないらしい (It seems, Boss is not an easy job)

ちょっとした記憶喪失？になりました。朝いつものジョギングに出たところまでは覚えているのですが、気づいたら家の前にいたのです。。。いや、汗はいつも通りびっしりと。スマホで歩数を見てみたらいつも通り約6000歩。Googleのロケーション履歴をみるときっちりマーライオンまで行って帰ってきているようです。え、なんにも覚えてないんだけど。。。いや、何かが始まっているのか、ストレスでも溜まったか（かもしれない）。

前回の記事（こちら）では新人さんの憂鬱について書いたのですが、かの調査には憂鬱になった理由の上位に、上司に怒られたっていうのが合ったりしたのです。今度は少しは上司のことも書いてみようと思ったりして。

上記の調査はエン・ジャパンがちょっと古いですが2018年に、尊敬する上司のどんな点を尊敬していたかという質問を年代に分けて調べたものです。結構わかりやすくて素敵。34才以下では指示がわかりやすいとか、知識や経験が豊富が上位にいる一方、35才以上ではリーダシップとか決断力があるが上位。こう見ると結構違いますよね。まあ、そうか。35才にもなれば仕事は大概自分でできるので、上司には、上司の仕事をしてもらいたみたいな話かな。。。そもそもこれって結構日本っぽいって思ったりもします（超感覚的）。他の国でやってみたらぜんぜん違うのかも知りたいかも。

あれ、部下に両方いる場合には（蒼白）。。。尊敬されるには、信頼できて、指示がわかりやすく、面倒見が良くて、リーダーシップと決断力が会って責任感もあるスーパーマンでないといけないのでは？？いや、とりあえず尊敬されるのを諦めてみるか。上司の皆様毎日ご苦労さまです（本当に）。

I lost my memory… well for a short while. I went to daily jogging this morning and I remember when I was outside of my house but my next memory is on the way back, close to my house… I don't remember any scenery. Did I really go? Yes, I sweated a lot. So possible I went. I check my step counter and it shows 6000. Yes it is normal after jogging steps. Finally I checked the google location history and it showed that I went to Merlion. I don't remember anything. Am I too stressful or … aging (Scared to say but maybe).

In the last post (here), I mentioned about May blue for fresh graduates in Japan. That referred survey also shows that one of the reasons of the blue is "Being scolded by bosses". Yes, totally understandable but this time maybe atI try to talk a bit about blues of bosses.

I found an interesting survey from en japan Inc. (2018) which helps us a bit to understand the requirement to be a good job… Above table shows that what do you respect about your boss if you have had respectful bosses. Interesting point is that the chart above shows the difference in age group in Japan. First of all, I'm interested in if those criteria above fit to your culture or not. Maybe not. This could give you nice insights to show working culture in Japan. The differences between age groups are somehow understandable. Youngers look for supportive bosses and others look for leadership. I think it is roughly the same across culture (roughly).

Then how if you have both age groups under you? To be a good both,,, you have to be trustful, give super clear instruction, know everything about work, very supportive to juniors, strong leadership, Good decision making, responsible… Superman (Sad). Well I'll give up to be a good boss at the beginning, Hahahaha. For bosses all around the world, thank you very much for your hard work under this pressure (From the bottom of my heart).
