The 2nd Dose of COVID19 Vaccine (Team Moderna)

At last, I have received my 2nd dose of the Moderna vaccine on July 9th, 2021 after a 6 weeks’ wait. This time I wasn’t feeling as anxious or excited compared to my first vaccination. Perhaps anxiety only arises when we tread into the unknown, which I believe many feel the same as me.

Process was very much the same as the first time which was smooth without any hiccup. There were more people at the vaccination centre yesterday, but everything was well managed. After the 30 minutes observation period, I was allowed to leave the centre and at the exit, I received free disposable masks but declined the free hand sanitizer as I did not bring an extra bag to store bulky items.

More than 24 hours have passed and so far, there is a sore on my injected arm with a slight body fatigue like the first injection. Other than these, there are no other symptoms of side effects. I wonder if this could be due to my age. Word has it that younger people are more likely to experience side effects than older ones like me.

So! It is another lazy weekend for me here in Singapore. If all goes well, it’s going to be Netflix with some beer tonight. Hopefully, I will be in good condition to watch the Euro 2021 Championship Finals between England and Italy with my buddy at 3:00am on Monday!
