Sympathy (noun): It means feeling very sad about someone and thinking about someone. Synonyms empathy. but empathy means that you already have the same experience as someone else. It has a slightly different meaning.
 EX1): We are sympathy with area damaged by rain.

EX2): I really sympathize with them.
 Because their parents was divorce.
