I have searched for an anchorage all my life. Despite cerebral palsy, I am truly thankful for the way I am. Shigeru Endo is a bedridden poet and film- maker Ise’s friend since their school days half a century ago. The Poems of Entoko is a documentary account covering 25 years of Endo and the young people, the carers, whose dedication and good humor allow the poet to achieve his much-needed independence. Endo demon- strates the very best of our human condition by accepting his fate and making full use of his considerable abilities. (Running time: 96 minutes, 2019)
