【英訳】When It Shines/Hitsuji Bungaku

Do you know about Heike Monogatari? It is one of the most well-known war chronicles in Japan. When you directly translate "Heike Monogatari(平家物語)" into English, it would be "The Tale of The Heike." Heike(平家) means Taira(平 : Hei) Family(家 : Ke). Taira is one of the most famous family names in Japanese history, and it had powerful authority at one time. And Heike Monogatari is about how the whole Taira family who was once flourished has been perishing in Kamakura Period. 
The author of the stories is anonymous and basically they were transmitted by speaking by Biwa-Hoshi. Biwa is a stringed instrument, and Hoshi is kind of buddhism monk. 
What the stories tell you is there is nothing last forever even if it seems.
The anime shows these stories very well with beautiful animation, music, facial expressions of characters, and performance of voice actors.
