旭堂南陵師匠、上田拓司能楽師、音楽家、現代作家やアーティストの皆さんの、地元 “夙川愛” でソーシャルカレッジがスタート。 　　　　　　　　　　　A social college has started in the local "Love Shukugawa" of Master Kyokudo Nanryo, Noh performer Takuji Ueda, musicians, contemporary writers and artists.

10年前に夙川の魅力を発信するために文化活動を核に「夙川ソーシャルカレッジ」を企画し活動させていただいた。その活動を振り返り一部をピックアップして紹介したいと思っている。ひと昔前の活動なので時代錯誤の内容が登場するかもしれないが、お許し願いたい。これからの夙川の新しい文化発信の街づくりに微力ながらつながればと思っている。

Ten years ago, in order to disseminate the charm of Shukugawa, we planned and worked on "Shukugawa Social College" centered on cultural activities. I would like to look back on those activities and pick up some of them and introduce them.
Since it was an activity a long time ago, anachronistic content may appear, but please forgive me. I hope that it will lead to the creation of a new cultural city in Shukugawa in the future. 

当時、大阪での仕事をこなしながら進めていた「夙川ソーシャルカレッジ」開講へ向けてタオルを首に捲くりつけて走り回っていた。

At that time, I was running around with a towel wrapped around my neck for the opening of "Shukugawa Social College", which I was doing while doing my job in Osaka.

ソーシャルカレッジの拠点にしたいと思っている「越木岩神社」を訪ねた。夙川の守護神社で、北の戎といわれている越木岩神社。この神社は地鎮祭の社、商売繁盛の社として、この地域と深くかかわっている。
神社名に「越木岩」があるように、400年前の大阪城築城の際、この森から岩を掘り出し運んでいた。その神岩の社として、いまも存在し続けている。
昨日は、禰宜の飯森良光氏とお会いし、カレッジのセミナー講座の第一弾に飯森宮司を要請させていただいた。協力に快い返事をもらったお陰で、カレッジの好スタートが切れた。

I visited "Koshikiiwa Shrine", which I want to use as a base for social colleges. Koshikiiwa Shrine is the guardian shrine of Shukugawa and is said to be the northern shrine. This shrine is deeply related to this area as a jichinsai shrine and a prosperous business shrine.
As the name of the shrine says "Koshikiiwa," rocks were dug out of this forest when the Osaka Castle was built 400 years ago. It still exists as the Shingan shrine.
Yesterday, I met Mr. Yoshimitsu Iimori and requested Mr.Iimori of the chief priest for the first seminar course at the college. Thanks to the kind response from the cooperation, the college got off to a good start.

ソーシャルカレッジの特別講師になっていただく皆さまも夙川周辺に居住されていることを条件にさせていただいている。その一人、講談師「四代目 旭堂南陵師匠」(故人)と場を持たせていただいた。南陵師匠からも快い返事が帰ってきた。早速、セミナー講座として来年の1月に登場していただくことになった。

All of you who will be special lecturers at social colleges are also required to live in the Shukugawa area. I had a place with one of them, the storyteller "4th kyokudo Nanryo Master" (deceased). A pleasant reply came back from Master Nanryo. It will be immediately introduced as a seminar course in January next year.

その他に、能楽師・上田拓司氏にも声を掛けさせていただいた。上田氏は夙川沿いのご自宅に住まれ、自宅2階を夙川能楽堂として公演や稽古場として使用しておられる。
南陵師匠と同じように上田氏も夙川愛が強く、地元の子供たちへの文化伝承を強く意識されている。極められた方たちの思いは同じかも知れない。次へ伝え継ぐ役割をはっきりと持っている。その思いに、私もほんの少し協力させていただく喜びを共有させていただいた。

In addition, I also spoke to Noh performer Takuji Ueda. Mr. Ueda lives in his home along Shukugawa, and the second floor of his home is used as the Shukugawa Noh theater for performances and rehearsals.
Like Master Nanryo, Mr. Ueda has a strong love for Shukugawa and is strongly conscious of passing on the culture to local children. The thoughts of those who have been mastered may be the same. It has a clear role to pass on to the next. With that in mind, I shared the joy of cooperating a little. 

他の講師としては、ハープ奏者の摩寿意英子氏(前回紹介)、七宝作家の土田善太郎氏、ジャズミュージシャン、現代アーティスト、フラワーアーティスト等々のワークショップを予定している。

Other instructors include harpist Eiko Masui (previously introduced), cloisonne artist Zenjiro Tsuchida, jazz musician, contemporary artist, flower artist, and other workshops.
