御寺泉涌寺の寛雅な風景 The elegant scenery of Sennyu-ji Temple

先日、遠方からの来客と京都 雲龍院での写経を楽しもうと訪ねた。
残念ながら、当日は雲龍院檀家さんの写経会と、ご住職による一文字漢字のお披露目ということで一般者の参拝はできないということだった。

The other day, I visited with a visitor from afar to enjoy copying sutras at Unryu-in Temple in Kyoto.
Unfortunately, on the day of the event, the unryu-in temple's sutra-copying party and the priest's announcement of one-character Chinese characters meant that the general public could not worship.

それでは、ということで本山の泉涌寺の参拝をさせていただいた。時期的に参拝者はなく閑散とした境内を歩き写真を撮らせていただいた。雲龍院へいく際にいつも参拝だけはさせていただくが、皇族のゆかりの寺院として寛雅さのなかに力強さを感じさせる寺院である。

Then, I visited Sennyu-ji Temple of the Honzan. There were no worshipers at the time, so we walked around the quiet precincts and took pictures. When I go to Unryu-in, I always worship, but as a temple related to the imperial family, it is a temple that makes me feel the strength in the generosity.
