月の女神、永遠に光り続ける 【一茶庵 稽古追想】 The moon goddess keeps shining forever

お軸を見ながら宗匠が「月にはなにがいますか」と。
うさぎ ? ガマガエル?

Looking at the axis, the master asked, "What is on the moon?"
Rabbit? Toad? 

そうそう、竹取物語ではかぐや姫が月で暮らしているという。そういえばテレビCMでかぐや姫がお月さんに帰って行った、というのを見たことがある。
そんな貧楚なことしか思い浮かばない。

Oh yeah, in The Tale of the Taketori, Princess Kaguya lives on the moon. By the way, I've seen on TV commercials that Princess Kaguya went back to the moon. I can only think of such a poor thing.

中国では、かぐや姫は不老不死の薬を飲んだ後、月で暮らすようになったという伝説がある。そのかぐや姫は仙女であり、月の女神である「嫦娥(じょうが)」と呼ばれている。

In China, there is a legend that Princess Kaguya began to live on the moon after taking medicine for immortality. Princess Kaguya is a hermit and is called "Joga". Chang'e seems to mean the goddess of the moon.

月は、女性的で満ち欠けしながらも常に輝き続けるので、古来中国では永遠のシンボルに。

その昔、中国の有名な詩人、李商隠がこのような詩を詠んだ。

The moon is feminine and always shines, though it is full and full, so it has been an eternal symbol in China since ancient times, and it seems that such a legend was born from it.

雲母屏風燭影深、長河漸落暁
星沈。
嫦娥応悔偸霊薬、碧海青天夜
夜心。

雲母を張り詰めた屏風にはろうそくの影が深々と映り、一人寂しい夜を過ごしている。何時の間にか夜も白み、天の川も傾き、明の明星も沈んでしまった。このような寂しい夜を過ごしながら月の女神である嫦娥は、不老不死の霊薬を盗んだことを後悔している。彼女は、青い海原にも似た夜空を毎夜、さむざむとした気持ちで眺めているのではないだろうか。という訳である。

The shadow of the candle is deeply reflected in the folding screen with mica, and I am spending a lonely night alone. Before I knew it, the night was white, the Milky Way was tilted, and the bright star was sunk. While spending such a lonely night, Chang'e, the goddess of the moon, regrets stealing the elixir of immortality. Perhaps she looks at the night sky, which resembles the blue ocean, with a chilly feeling every night. That is why. 

不老不死の媚薬を手にしたことにより、永遠に孤独で光り続けることになる。

Having an aphrodisiac of immortality will keep you lonely and shining forever.

女性の寂しさを詠う代表的な詩である。
そんなことを教えていただきながら、お軸の月を眺め、煎茶、玉露に舌鼓をうった。

It is a typical poem that describes the loneliness of women. While teaching me such things, I watched the moon on the axis and enjoyed sencha and gyokuro.

この原稿を編集している時に民間宇宙船クルードラゴンの打ち上げ生中継を視聴。
宇宙への旅は、伝説おとぎ話ではなく現実として動き始めている。
お月さんにかぐや姫が女神として存在しているなんていう話は、もうおとぎ話では通用しなくなった。

While editing this manuscript, I watched the live broadcast of the launch of the private spacecraft Crew Dragon.
The journey to space, going to the moon, is beginning to move as a reality rather than a legendary fairy tale. The story that Princess Kaguya exists as a goddess in the moon is no longer a fairy tale.
