I have several friends from abroad who can speak in Japanese naturally.
On top of that, I met a lot of Japanese language learners online through a game "VRchat".
I've heard their methods of learning Japanese every so often.

My recommend way of the learning Japanese for beginners

2. To practice listening Japanese with anime, VTubers, listen to music or stuff.

3. To learn how to read Katakana and basic Kanjis through reading subtitles, books sort of like them.
