【Internship】Looking for English Speaking Moderator for Cultural Exchange Programs! Apply by Sunday, June 9th.

Hi, I am Mitsuki from the Educational Tour Division of HelloWorld.

HelloWorld Inc. is a company based in Okinawa, which promotes various way of cultural exchange activities and language learning in Japan and in the world. 
So far, over 20,000 students from Hokkaido to Okinawa have decided to participate in our MACHINAKA ENGLISH QUEST (Machi-que) and Machinaka Cultural Exchange Program (Homestay)!

Presently, we are looking for a new English Speaking intern to take on the following responsibilities:

・Perform as Master of Ceremonies(MC) for HelloWorld’s Machi-que and Machinaka Cultural Exchange’s opening and ending ceremonies
＜Depending on your skills＞
　・PC work such as translation, lecture material making
　・Online meetings with HelloWorld's English Speakers
　・Assist with recruiting new English Speakers and Host Families

Consequently, preferred skills and eligibilities are:

・Understanding the purpose of HelloWorld’s programs 
・Native-level fluency in English
・Ability to speak in front of audiences 
・Has / will have permission to engage in an activity other than those permitted by the Visa status of residence previously granted 
＜Preferred but not required＞
・Daily-conversation level fluency in Japanese
・PC skills (Office, Google, Canva, etc.) 

Finally, the internship conditions are as follows:

・Initial hourly wage: ￥1,000~
　※Depending on the performance, incentive can be given
・Workplace:
　【Okinawa】HelloWorld office (Okinawa city) and the venue for each event
　【Kanto】the venue for each event around Tokyo
・Starting date: after consultation with the interviewer

【How to Apply】
Step1. Take a 1 min Video
・Language：English
・Length：Less than 1 minute
・Theme：Brief self-introdcution of yourself and your experience living in Japan
・Submit your video using the questionnaire below

Step2. Submit the Questionnaire (Google Form)
・Access to Questionnaire
・Deadline：June 9th (Sun)
・Note that you will be requested to submit your resume as part of the form
・Selection Process: Complete Questionnaire and 1-2 interviews
　※There may be a demonstration of MC'ing during the interview

In the programs, students interact with English Speakers by introducing themselves including their school lives and personal interests, and exchange their thoughts and ideas about certain topics in English. Connecting Japanese students and HelloWorld's English Speakers and Host families will lead to a deeper mutual understanding among each other.
