加工された水道の水は価値がある。
今日、価あるものを盗めばとがめられるのが常識だが、通行人が門口の水道の栓をひねって存分に飲んだとしても、とがめたという話はきかない。
直接、生命を維持する貴重な価値ある水でさえ、その量があまりに豊富であるゆえに許されるということは、私たちに何を教えるか。
それは、すなわち生産者の使命は貴重なる生活物資を、水道の水の如く無尽蔵たらしめることである。
いかに貴重なるものでも、量を多くして無代に等しい価値をもって提供することにある。
私たちの経営の真の使命はまさにここにあると思うのである。

Processed tap water is valuable.
Today, it is common knowledge that if you steal something of value, you will be censured, but if a passerby turns on the tap at your door and drinks to his heart's content, you will not hear of any censure.
What does it tell us that even valuable, life-sustaining water is allowed to be consumed because it is so plentiful?
It means that the mission of producers is to make the precious commodities of life as inexhaustible as the water in the tap.
No matter how precious they are, they must be provided in large quantities and at a value equal to nothing.
I believe that this is the true mission of our management.
