作品89～WEB個展「百Hyaku-Shiki色」～

大詰めになってこの方をモデルにできたことを、とても光栄に思います。

芸術と宗教というものを切り離して語ることが不可能だからです。

改めてプロテスタントとカトリックの違いを学び、

失礼のないように描いたつもりです。

一見ポップな似顔絵に思われるかもしれませんが、

神、信仰、エロス、

いろんな思いを私なりに封じ込めた1点です。

参考にした絵画はありません。

I feel very honored that I was able to draw this person in the final stage. Because it’s impossible to talk about art and religion a limit apart.

I learned difference between Protestantism and Catholocism and draw this pastor not to make any rudeness.

Seemingly it might look like a pop portrait, but I adopted various factors to this painting…God,Faith,Eros.
