水や空気が汚れ、浄水器や空気清浄器が売れる、
犯罪が増え、防犯カメラが売れる、
温暖化が進み、エアコンが売れる、
他国の戦争でミサイルや弾薬が売れる、
それでも経済は成長する。

An economy can grow,
even if water and air are polluted, leading to the sale of water/air purifiers,
even if crime rates rise, leading to the sale of surveillance cameras,
even if air conditioners are sold due to global warming,
even if ammunition are sold as a result of wars in other countries.

誰からも救出されないまま海中へと投げ出され、
命を落としたギリシャ沖の数百人の難民たち。
全力での捜索の挙げ句、全員死亡とされた、
3500万円の「タイタニックツアー」に参加した５人の客たち。
