政府はテクノロジーへの投資に重きを置くべき？

政府はテクノロジーへの投資に重きを置くべきなのでしょうか。それともテクノロジーの発展よりももっと優先させるべきものはあるのでしょうか。

     I believe that investment in technology should be a bigger priority for the government. Investment in technologies such as IT, biotechnology, and electric department benefit from catching up with social currents, making the economy more smoothly, and citizens happy.

      テクノロジーへの投資は、政府にとってより大きな優先事項であるべきだと私は信じています。 IT、バイオテクノロジー、電気部門などのテクノロジーへの投資は、社会の潮流に追いつき、経済をより円滑にし、市民の幸福に役立ちます。

     Primarily, it tends to be that the more the society is developed and matured, the more citizens cannot catch up with new technology. The main reason for this is the developed nation has already generated many companies which have enormous money and clout. This means that the structure of society doesn't change easily. Investment in new technology can make it prevent this situation.

     第一に、社会が発展し、成熟すればするほど、より多くの市民が新しい技術に追いつけなくなる傾向があります。これの主な理由は、先進国がすでに莫大な資金と影響力を持つ多くの企業を生み出していることです。社会の構造はそう簡単には変わらないということです。新しいテクノロジーへの投資は、この状況を防ぐことができます。

     Second, investment in technology makes the economy runs more smoothly. For example, people have started to use cashless payments for daily shopping. Furthermore, more and more people may use online shopping to purchase their amenities. This is allowed by new technologies such as transportation, the IT revolution, and the commoditization of microchips made of silicon. Historically, many new technologies make it possible that people can obtain their needs.

     Last, the technology always benefits for people to make daily life more convenient. Technology is related to our individual lives directly. People can't do anything without the Internet, electricity, and even cars. These are supported by new technologies, and they are changing day by day. If people stopped giving money to these departments, we could not procure and share such a beautiful life with new technologies.

     For the reasons I mentioned above, investment in technology is a fundamental element that people can live happy, healthy lives. I believe that investment in technology should be the no.1 priority for the government.
